Custom Tin Packaging for US Brands & Importers
Plan a custom tin packaging project for the United States around the actual contents, contact method, fill or inner-pack dimensions, structure, decoration, buyer specification, sample approval, packout and importer handoff. Junmei organizes manufacturing evidence around the approved project; it does not replace the buyer’s final regulatory, labeling or market-placement review.

Contents, direct or indirect contact, filling process, expected contact time and temperature, storage conditions and any customer-defined restriction.
Tinplate, internal and external coating, liner or insert information, plus the available report or authorization basis and its stated limitations.
Quantity, artwork-version count, tooling status, launch date, delivery location and the production window that the program can accept.
MOQ starts from 3,000 pieces; final MOQ and timing are reviewed against size, structure, printing, versions, tooling and the live schedule.
Usable internal space, structure, lid action, edges, insert or liner fit, artwork placement, color direction, finish and handling.
Samples are typically prepared in 3–7 working days after specifications and artwork are confirmed. The approved sample, drawing, artwork and color reference are linked to production notes.
Shelf or gifting presentation, label and artwork zones, barcode or customer-mark placement, unit protection, carton presentation and distribution handling.
Artwork and rights confirmation remain with the buyer; Junmei reviews manufacturability, visible finish, structure and the proposed packout against approved references.
Importer or buyer confirms the shipping route, consignee information, carton marks, customs or broker instructions and required commercial or compliance records.
Junmei can coordinate confirmed packing data, packing list, commercial invoice, packing/loading photographs and other agreed export handoff records without assuming the importer’s legal responsibilities.

FDA food-contact review starts with components and intended use—not a badge.
FDA states that the overall regulatory status of a food-contact material depends on each substance that comprises the article and the intended conditions of use. Depending on the component and use, the basis may involve 21 CFR 174–179, GRAS, prior sanction, a Threshold of Regulation exemption or an effective Food Contact Substance Notification. An FCN is specific to the identified manufacturer, substance and conditions of use. This makes a generic “FDA approved tin” claim inaccurate.
Identify the food type, direct-contact surface, expected time and temperature, filling process, storage and whether an inner bag, liner, paper, tray, cup or insert changes the contact route.
Identify tinplate, internal and external coatings, inks or decorated surfaces, lid components, liner or insert materials and the supplier information for any substance-specific authorization relied upon.
Review the complete file: sample description, component or coating identity, method or authorization basis, specifications, limitations, conditions of use, date and result pages. Junmei’s current example FDA-related report is sample-specific and does not cover every finished tin.
Connect the agreed material and contact specification to the drawing, approved sample, artwork, production checks, packing instruction and any project-specific test request.
Two confirmed collaboration records with different approval priorities.
Junmei confirms the Coca-Cola and Lip Smacker collaboration records and images shown here. They demonstrate project contexts without adding an unsupported order date, volume, confidential specification, commercial result or brand endorsement.

Lip Smacker beauty-tin project
A highly visual beauty brief can require a rectangular or special-format tin, precise graphic placement, insert fit and an opening experience suited to a gift set. The buyer confirms trademark and artwork rights plus formula compatibility, direct-contact suitability and finished-product stability; Junmei evaluates the tin structure, decoration and product-matched insert.

Coca-Cola promotional-tin project
A promotional program may prioritize brand recognition, giftability, multiple artwork versions and a defined campaign date. The buyer supplies authorized artwork, labeling requirements and the packout brief; Junmei reviews proportion, forming-safe graphics, color references, finish, sample approval and transport protection before production.

Carry one approved reference trail from RFQ to US import handoff.
Responsibility, testing, labeling, customs instructions and final document requirements remain project-specific. The steps below show where buyer decisions, importer instructions and Junmei’s production evidence should connect. Bulk production is typically about 25 days after necessary approval and order confirmation, subject to specification, quantity and schedule; shipping time is separate.
