Rabbit-shaped
skincare gift tin.
For BEAST’s skincare gift packaging, Junmei produced a rabbit-shaped tin that brings the outline and artwork together. The 22,000-piece project combined dedicated tooling, decorated metal and checks around an irregular lid-and-body profile.

The outline is part of the identity.
The brief called for a rabbit-shaped tin for a skincare gift presentation. Its ears, head and body shape how the decorative artwork reads across the pack. The metallic-looking areas, cloud motifs and floral details needed to work with the formed contour.

Behind the silhouette.
A documented sequence of tooling, printing, forming, cleaning and packing.
Tooling & printed sheets
A custom outline starts with the forming tool. The rabbit shape introduces changing curves around the perimeter, while the decorative layout needs to fit the usable surface. The supplied records show the shaped tool and the printed metal sheets used in the production sequence.
Forming the rabbit profile
The head, ears and body need to form as one coherent outline. During production, the review points were the contour, rolled edges, surface condition and fit between the lid and body. The photographs show shaped metal components at the forming equipment.
Surface care & consistency
The decoration combines a dark base with brighter motifs and metallic-looking areas. Handling and cleaning checks focused on surface appearance and the decorated contour. These photographs document cleaning on the line and grouped decorated components.
Protection through packing
The packing photographs show protective wrapping, individually protected tins in cartons and packed cartons arranged for dispatch. These are transport-protection records; they do not establish the final internal insert specification of the retail gift set.
Plan the contents
with the contour.
Bring the packed product dimensions and the proposed outline into the tooling discussion before finalising artwork. For a shaped tin, usable internal space, lid fit and the way the filled pack will be protected matter as much as the silhouette. Review artwork placement on a formed sample and allow a separate development period for new tooling.
