MIKA’s Mid-Autumn packaging brief uses a purple illustrated tin to give a mooncake gift a distinctive visual identity. Junmei’s record focuses on printed detail, the consistency of the purple background and the formed lid-and-body structure.

An illustrated direction for a seasonal gift
The project moves the seasonal presentation towards a purple palette with a moon, floral detail and illustrated characters. The lid provides the main visual surface, so fine lines and title lettering need to remain readable on the finished tin.

Illustrated sheets & forming
The purple artwork appears on printed components at successive forming stages. The basic specification combines an overall matte coating with selective gloss. Production review focused on illustration detail, colour and the relationship between the formed lid and body.
Dispatch preparation
The source archive includes packed cartons during dispatch preparation. For a seasonal food gift, the outer tin, wrapped food and any fitted interior need to be planned together before the production schedule is confirmed.

Provide the wrapped food dimensions alongside the proposed gift-box size. Review the illustration and selective gloss on a physical sample, then confirm the tray and transport packaging against the complete pack. Seasonal launch timing should include artwork approval and sample review.
